Proverbs 4:26

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
What is the instruction here to ponder the path of your feet, from God? Could it be that God is saying pay attention to where you are and where you’re going.

We are establishing our ways on a certain path throughout life, its the path that you’re on and the way, (being your thinking and attitude) inwhich you’re traveling.  The path, consist of our existing life, our career path, the love path, the spiritual path, but mostly the path of awareness.

It’s amazing how powerful we are and we don’t even know it. Our choices for self love, self care, self respect and to reach for the biggest and best for ourselves are often tainted and shortcoming. As a mature adult, I’ve grown into speaking upfront to God and others about what I would like best. Of course our Sovergn God knows what is best for us, which is most often better than what we can imagine for ourselves. God is not shaken by our high and mighty wants, it is our high and mighty attitudes He rejects. What is established now and whats to come is formed from our awareness to

  • Be as we should be
  • Act from self love
  • Demonstrate love to others.

What is established now may have come from ways of needing to control, fear, manipulation, calculation, and insecurity. These ways have set us on a detoured path. The path to ponder on is carved out of an awareness that, it’s not personal. Whatever it is, it’s not personal. All that’s required of us is to focus on how we honor ourselves without attitude and revenge. If we can do this we eliminate conflict even when confrontation seems to be needed.

This is our faith in action. It proves we agree with God and believe we are who God says we are. This is our trust in God, in that we do our part and allow God to take care of the rest including others.

  • Faith and Trust are ways to be established in our lives.
  • Strength and courage are ways to be established in our lives.
  • A positive attitude is a sure way to be established in our lives.
  • Love is the way to be established.

Proverbs 4:25

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

In the words of a famous song, “do you know where you going to, do you like the things that life is showing you?”

This Proverb encourages us to keep our eye on the goal, to close out what’s to the left, the right, the mess, the distractions, the pull for attention, etc…..

It also indicates; When you close you eyes, you should see your goals and dreams. See the vision, imagine, dream. See what you want and how you want it. Keep your sights on that!

There is a path for you to get to where you wanna be, there is a road that leads to life and fulfillment, let’s get on with it.

Proverbs 4:23

Follow us, as we go through to the end of Proverbs 4.

23: Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

24: Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth, (MSG)

Do you have a different continence or a different confession each day about the same subject?
Does your inner dialogue match your outer continence?

24: Avoid careless banter, white lies & gossip. (MSG)

It makes you; A soldier unprepared, wears you out, and leaves you open for attack

Me too,

People of God, God fearing folks, Marching Saints, where is your voice, your righteousness indignation?

Aren’t we leaders and ambassadors?

How often has it been that the church is the last in setting the standard on moral treatment, while raising the highest rant on immorality?

Disclosure; I love the church and the people of God as well as all others. However, I do think we need to set the bar higher on indignations worth speaking to.

There seems to be a smorgest board, to pick and choose from.

Well, this me too movement is one to pick, and I could name some others, but I’ll begin with this one, (It’s easier for some).

Many are coming out, many are wanting to tell their story, it’s not a story just for the elite to tell, you know. There is so much displacement of blame, some blame themselves, some blame their victimizer, some blame their caregivers and  so on. But now is the time to close the gap on respect and equality.

Mother, daughter, woman, ladies, it’s time to commend your sister or sista for enduring the fear & shame, for conquering the intent of the enemy to demoralize & destroy, for overcoming with intention & tenacity and finally for the hope of the next generation, be open and vulnerable.

I challenge you to tell your story, listen to another’s story, cry together and comfort one another. It’s time for this……

A defining moment in history took shape this year in the form of the #Metoo movement. Across the nation women took a bold stand and spoke up against the sexual misconduct and mistreatment they endured unjustly and for far too long. The impact has been felt everywhere, from businesses, to churches and beyond. In this session we look at the problem, how we can address it, and how we can support the victims.
Ladies, Get in formation!

Now is the time to recognize women manipulated by impulsive lust, time to accept women preyed upon for ill gotten gain, and to unite with women of abuse and shame due to wolves in shepherd clothing, who only had one goal in mind. Some ladies may need to forgive themselves for what was too painful to admit. We have judged and punished one another for having the same wants and needs that have led us into the market place unprepared and unprotected while looking for love in all the wrong places.

Peace and Love,

Spring Clean into Summer!

People, it’s time to clean up, in order to glow up, turn up, & start up. pexels-photo-221247.jpeg

Get your body moving with stretching, meditation, & exercise. 15 minutes of stretch while taking deep breaths gets the blood flowing, and resets the brain. Time is your friend, time is your savior, time is something your are never without. We all get the same amount of time and we get to chose what we’ll do with it. Take your time, own it, make it work for you. That being said; include stretching for 10 – 15 minutes, take some deep breaths, and listen to the in and out breaths, give these breaths your full attention.

Meditate, Meditate, Meditate! Do it with your 24 hours given. Give some of it back to God and to yourself. 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes, you got it and you need to use it to meditate. pexels-photo-156151.jpegJust sit quiet, listen, and breathe. Your mind, body and spirit may resist but be determined, make it a ritual.

Let’s talk about eating,

Eat healthy by starting at the least with reducing and adding. Reduce sugar, preservative preserved food made to last long on supermarket shelves, it comes packaged in jars, frozen cartons, and zip locked bags. LET IT GO, to add lengths of days to your life, for longevity, and to experience some adventure.

Add more, vegetables, fruit, water & herbs. Lightly cook, steam, bake but raw works too. Think, if it grows, it flows, in the body.

Your body is your temple, what does that mean to you? Why don’t you think about that and write what it means for you to have health & fitness?

Spring into summer with a new sacred temple that is mentally strong, physically fit, and with spiritual fortitude.

Finally, let me suggest Galatians 5:22 to really shine. We’ll focus on this next week!

Peace, Love, Joy
