It’s house cleaning time

I think everyone grew up with a day to clean the house where you got to clean the things behind and underneath, right? And stuff was pulled out and thrown away and you had to think about if things were to be kept or thrown away. Sometimes you might ask a parent or sibling, do you think I should keep this or throw it away? Some of us are people who never throw anything away to make room for more space or something new.

You may see where I’m going with this. We gotta do the same thing with our beings. I know you clean yourself every day in the shower but what about your being, that inner person? There comes times when we must set the day for cleaning our being, the house we carry into the world engaging with the people and the environment.

I’m asking that we pick a time and place at home to sit and look inside at what’s there mentally,  emotionally and spiritually.  To understand what we think and believe, what our living has brought us to and what we believe and know about ourselves. Are we caring, understanding, emotional,  likable, and why. Mostly, we should evaluate the messages given and received and how those messages are serving our lives today. We should consider what our dreams are and how close are we to reaching them.  For some of us, if we even have a dream and did we ever.

So you see cleaning house is soul searching and getting clear. it’s a time of self love, to nurture your being. To say I love you enough to check in on you and gage your happy radar. It’s this radar that attracts,  repells, and gathers. Can we manipulate the radar, do we set our radar, what do we understand about the signals in our radar?

As we set the day to clean or maybe the universal time clock as set you up to be still and there’s nothing to do but house cleaning .

I suggest while you clean, intentionally and vocally let go of stuff, tell self judgment good bye, I no longer need you. Bad attitude you may have served me at one time but I’ve put you away and now I throw you out for good. Are you getting the idea? The tough guy that is always ready to stand up and greet others is out dated, welcoming some charm in doses may bring delightful changes. What about thoughts and ideas about money? What needs to be reconsidered and thrown out? Can you let go of it being a divider, an exposer of the ugly, how it has failed you or caused havoc in your life? Do you consider  yourself shy or outgoing and what either has granted  you. These are sometimes the deep seeded thoughts that need to move out, be released and in many cases destroyed never to return.

I’m committing to regular cleaning of my being to see what new things take up space where the old once was.

Jesus said you don’t pour new wine into old wine skins.

Happy cleaning

New Paradigms

Wilt thou be made whole? Will you choose life, meaning living it at its fullest, through your thoughts , words, and actions? Will you examine your thoughts to see and know where they come from, who they belong to and how they serve you in living your fullest life today .

You see we must pull down strong holds, which are thoughts & habits formed out of beliefs . We must bring thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. The  strange thing about this is that it will cause us to act in ways that we are uncomfortable with, it moves us out of a comfort zone, that we don’t feel is right for us or we’re ready for.

Pulling down strong holds may mean we are lead to incounter our judgments, and we should always start with ourselves to be made whole, as the question was asked. What do we judge about ourselves to be good or bad, and where did that come from. If we judge something good of ourselves, how did we determine that, who told you that was good about you, was it the abusive boyfriend, a frightful and manipulating parent, or did God say it was good? We must agree with God to be whole! And it’s the same line of questions for the bad.

What if our level of confidence is a strong hold, how do we decide what is confidence in ourselves ,  is it knowing we do a particular thing well? Confidence to make better choices, to trust in our process in growing. The confidence  that God has use of us and we are valuable to the arena we are in. How about not hiding our attitudes and temperaments to please others, so we don’t feel rejected but rather being who we are just as we are. It is my belief that this kind of pulling down strong holds opens unexpected doors, unimaginable avenues, if we can allow ourselves to get past the feelings the strong holds have us conditioned to feel.

What if we begin to condition ourselves to examine our thoughts and consider their origin before flowing in them? What if we destroy the mindsets that have kept us incomplete ,  full of self doubt, and resisting the flow of better things.

What am I saying ?  Honor yourself, care about yourself more than just to feed & cloth yourself ,  but care about how you feel and how a person or event makes you feel, care about why those feelings are showing up. Then ask how does this get better for me. I’m suggesting letting go of resisting new thoughts, having new experiences and observing what happens.  Become aware of the unfolding in each moment.

Being whole means paying attention to our choices as we make them and to examine why that was or was not the best choice. How does the choice resignate with your being whole or not?

Disclaimer, this is some life altering activity and it will make your life unrecognizable to you and most of all lead to wellness to eventually see a full and unapologetic life.

What should we want?

It is often said and is true, you have to know what you want in order to have it. There is a saying,”how you gonna have a dream come true, if you don’t have a dream “, I’m probably messing that up but you can get the point.  And while I believe that knowing what you want is a good thing,  like a home, a car, good career, etc… Those things come naturally and to the degree or at whatever  level that you see yourself having them. Whether it’s a big home or small or luxury model car or not, the income earnings bracket. These levels are determined by our ability to plan, executive a plan and what we believe about ourselves. So no matter the level, we will likely have these things.  I believe because God is a provider especially in the United States of America.

What I have come to realize,  more in depth is to want spiritual blessings is what we should really want. Spiritual blessings being love (for self, for others & certainly God), hope, faith, wisdom, joy , peace….. of such there is no law. What rules, do or don’t do, do you need when you have spiritual blessings?  What messes do you need deliverance from, what regrets, and what punishment is needed, when you posses spiritual blessings? There’d be no back bitting, confusion would only lead to clarity, because of your wisdom,  if you make a mistake wisdom shows you the way to correct it . If you’re wronged love moves you past it, and the joy you have would draw people to you like a magnet, but wisdom would only allow you to make relationships with the right people. And peace keeps you worry free, unburdened, and light hearted.

God blessed Solomon because he asked God for wisdom and not riches and Solomon became very rich. The wisdom Solomon displayed when he knew how to save the child, call true love forth, and openly expose a lie. What we would spare ourselves with this kind of wisdom.

It is my suggestion to seek spiritual blessings and see what happens. Develop the fruits of the spirit to the point we no longer idolize our own opinions, thoughts and feelings. But be open to change what you think you know, put them on the altar and see if they burn up before God.  Let’s agree with God as we put our feelings,  thoughts, and opinions on the altar before God.  Know that we are all the better and we are growing with new results to come.

Seek the kingdom, and all these things (home, career, car, food) will be added unto you. Give know thought to what you’ll eat, drink, shelter, for your heavenly Father knows you have need of these things.

Peace and Love,

Embrace your indicators!

Not having what you want right now and not seeing your desires fulfilled can drive a person crazy at times. It can leave you bewilder and confused.

At each level of growth and evolvment the obstacles, the delays, and momentary denials are just indicators that we are not quite ready for the new phase of our lives. Not quite ready for our new station in life. There is a path that leads to your success and you must get on the path.

Somewhere inside ourselves we are needing to get clearer and more specific. We may need to let go of habits and patterns of thought, maybe it’s time to release sabotaging beliefs that are keeping us from taking the actions needed.

These indicators that are to be embraced! The same way the gas gage in your car is an indicator that gas is needed. You can appreciate this type of indicator that keeps us moving along on our course or take us to a desired destination. It’s considered a good thing when we look up and see the dark sky and turn to go back into the house for the umbrella, although it may rain we are prepared.

Often the indicators we get tell us we’re running on empty, that we’re  not practicing habits that lead to success, and are still attracting people that don’t have our best interest at heart. It’s these indicators that often cause us to think that we’re doomed to never see change,  that we are not deserving, or its not in the cards for us to see our desires successfully fulfilled. But, this thinking is not true, what is true is that there is something we need to disconnect from, cleanse from by the renewing of our minds, and something to stop immediately if we can. However it’s a time to locate ourselves on a deeper level to be the true creators we really are. When we see these indicators, we can be thankful for the awareness we now have, grateful that light has come to us, and we can rejoice in getting to the bottom of our issues with fervent prayer, fasting to clarity on our intentions, and surender with purpose. We can stand in the truth that we are supposed to be blessed and see our desires.

Embracing the indicators, says we believe in our success. As we embrace the indicators that help us keep moving forward with the right perspective we are destined to meet success. See the indicators in your life with a renewed attitude, applying this elevated understanding of what life is unfolding to you as revelation of hidden behavior and emotions.

Romans 12:2

Rolling the stone away

Hey Yall,

We must remind ourselves the stone has been rolled away in our lives and we walk out alive and awakened. If you follow what I’m saying, when Jesus raised Lazarus, he called him, likes he’s called us! And we’ve answered the call, how awesome.  Like Lazarus, we were rescued from the grave, that life of death separated from God and the knowledge of Him and what He can do for our lives.

So, life as come to us AND the stone has been rolled away. Once he quickened us to life then he called us out of our caves, rolled the stone away so we could come and walk in the light of day. Can you see this in the story and in our lives?

When the stone is rolled away the light comes so strong that we have to adjust ourselves to it. This light in us is new, and it’s makes us unrecognizable to ourselves and others. We have to adjust to this light and get comfortable with it. I see the light in my minds eye has coming directly in front and illuminating me, penetrating straight through me and all the darkness being pushed out from the back of me. We have to define darkness individually,  but it includes whatever lies your were told about yourself, the worth you gave yourself and the limits you had to see to create a satisfying life. Now, we are awakened AND the stone has been rolled away. Remember this, tell yourself every time you need to. I’m awakened and the stone has been rolled away. It is in remembering and confessing who we are and what has happened to us when we chose to believe in something greater than ourselves.

Love yourself today, by embracing all that’s good in your life, seeing the good in you and in others, forgiving yourself and others,  be kind to yourself and others and finally tell God what you desire to see in place of what you now see that does not feel good to you, breathe in deep, let out a sigh of trust and go about your day.

And I’m out, peace!
