23: Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

24: Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth, (MSG)

Do you have a different continence or a different confession each day about the same subject?

Does your inner dialogue match your outer continence?

24: Avoid careless banter, white lies & gossip. (MSG)

It makes you; A soldier unprepared, wears you out, and leaves you open for attack
